Assembyl 3D began in 2011 as 3D Factory LLC — one of the earliest independent 3D printing studios in the New York metro area. Founded by Mike Perina when the technology was still largely experimental, the business grew from RepRap experimentation into a full-service manufacturing partner serving global brands.

We rebranded as Assembyl 3D in 2018 to reflect a broader scope: not just printing, but assembling solutions — part manufacturing, workflow consulting, and creative fabrication under one roof. Over 14 years, the roster has grown to 280+ clients across entertainment, fashion, industrial, humanitarian, and education sectors.

The founding principle remains unchanged: every physical object starts as an idea. Our job is to close that gap — fast, precisely, and without compromise to the original vision.
